Wind tower - Vietnam investigates anti-dumping (AD18)

On September 25, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2494/QĐ-BCT on investigating and applying anti-dumping measures on wind power tower products from the People's Republic of China (case code AD18).

I. Relevant information:

1. Initiation date: September 25, 2023

2. Goods under investigation: Wind tower under HS codes 7308.20.11 and 7308.20.19, or parts of a wind-powered generator set under HS codes 8502.31.10 and 8502.31.20.

3. Investigation period:

Investigation period to determine dumping behavior: from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
Investigation period to determine damage: from January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2023.

4. Petitioner: CS WIND Vietnam Company Limited and Phuong Nam Green and Renewable Energy Company Limited (SRE).

5. Decision to apply official anti-dumping measures

On December 24, 2024, Decision No. 3453/QĐ-BCT imposed official anti-dumping duties, with rates ranging from 0% to 97%.
