Circular No. 30/2020/TT-BCT guides the implementation of EVFTA regarding trade remedies

The content of trade remedies is specified in chapter 3 of the Agreement, including measures to protect members’ domestic production industry protection in the event of unfair competition (dumping/subsidy) and/or a sudden increase in imported goods, leading to damage to the domestic industry due to the implementation the Agreement.

Agreement on Antidumping

An anti-dumping measure shall be applied only under the circumstances provided for in Article VI of GATT 1994 and pursuant to investigations initiated and conducted in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. The following provisions govern the application of Article VI of GATT 1994 in so far as action is taken under anti-dumping legislation or regulations.
