Germany is currently one of Vietnam's leading trading partners not only in the EU and but also the world. Over the past decade, two-way trade has increased by more than 80%. With the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) coming into force, import and export activities between Vietnam and the EU's largest market are expected to have positive breakthroughs.

However, Germany is a strict partner both in legal regulations and consumer requirements.
