On December 11, 2020, Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3298/QĐ-BCT on initiation of an anti-dumping investigation on some sorbitol products imported from China, India and Indonesia (AD14)

2. Good in investigation: some sorbitol products under the HS Code 2905.44.00 and 3824.60.00 imported from China, India and Indonesia

3. Investigation period: April 1, 2019 - March 31, 2020

5. Decision on temporary imposition of anti-dumping measures

On July 06, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1719/QĐ-BCT on the application of provisional anti-dumping measures to a number of sorbitol products imported from China: 45,15% - 68,50%; India: 52,75%; Indonesia: 39,63% - 57,55%.

6. Decision to apply official anti-dumping measures

On November 23, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2644/QĐ-BCT on the application of official anti-dumping measures to a number of welding products from China: 44,99%-68,50%; India: 52,75%; Indonesia: 44,39%-57,55%.

7. Progression:

On November 20, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3377/QD-BCT on conducting the final review of the application of the anti-dumping measure on the above-mentioned product.
