On August 5, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2334/QD-BCT on conducting an investigation and application of anti-dumping measures for some plastic products and products made from polymers and propylene plastic imported into Vietnam originating from the People's Republic of China (China), Kingdom of Thailand and Malaysia (case number AD07).

On July 15, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1403/QĐ-BCT on the outcomes of the first review of the anti-dumping measures application (case AR01.AD07)

- Malaysia: 18,87% - 23,42%

- Thailand: 17,30% - 20,35%

- China: 9,45% - 23,71%

On July 14, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2027/QD-BCT on the results of the final review of the application of anti-dumping measures against certain plastic products made from propylene polymers originating from Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. Accordingly, the Minister of Industry and Trade decided to terminate and not extend the application of anti-dumping measures against the investigated goods.
