Canadian International Trade Tribunal Initiates an Inquiry: Unitized Wall Modules From the People's Republic of China

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 17, 2012) - The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today initiated a preliminary injury inquiry into a complaint by Allan Window Technologies, of Concord, Ontario, Ferguson Neudorf Glass Inc., of Beamsville, Ontario, Flynn Canada Ltd., of Mississauga, Ontario, Inland Glass & Aluminum Ltd./Aluminum Curtainwall Systems Inc., of Kamloops, British Columbia, Oldcastle Building Envelope, of Concord, Ontario, Sota Glazing Inc., of Brampton, Ontario, Starline Architectural Windows Ltd., of Langley, British Columbia, and Toro Aluminum/Toro Glasswall Inc., of Concord, Ontario, that they have suffered injury as a result of the dumping and subsidizing of unitized wall modules from the People's Republic of China.
The U.S. Expedites AD Sunset Review on Folding Gift Boxes from China

On July 6, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission announced starting an expedited sunset review for its antidumping on China-made folding gift boxes in order to determine whether or not revoking the antidumping order would lead to continuation or recurrence of the material injury to U.S. industries within a reasonably foreseeable time.
Steel industry welcomes new anti-dumping adviser

The ASI congratulates the Australian Government and Australian Industry Group (AiG) on the appointment this month of Arthur Vlahonasios as International Trade Remedies Adviser. The ASI has welcomed the new move to strengthen the nation’s anti-dumping regime. The new position is hosted by AiG and funded by the Australian Government as a pilot project until 31 December 2013.
