On June 11, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an anti-dumping investigation (CBPG) and anti-subsidy (CTC) on hardwood and decorative plywood imported from Vietnam. 

On 22 May 2025, the European Commission (‘the Commission’) announced that the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding with regard to imports into the Union of PET originating in Vietnam.

On May 12, 2025, The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has initiated anti-dumping investigations on steel strapping originating or exported from several countries, including Việt Nam.

On May 6, 2025, the Trade Remedies Authority of Viet Nam (TRAV) received information that Egypt had received a request for an anti-dumping investigation on truck and bus tires originating or imported from Viet Nam.

On April 22, 2025, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated an investigation into applying anti-dumping measures on certain wire rod originating from a number of countries, including Viet Nam. 

On April 8, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an anti-dumping investigation (ADI) on polypropylene plastic boxes imported from Vietnam, under HS code 3923.10.9000.

On Mar 28, 2025, India’s Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into Elastomeric filament yarn originating from China and Vietnam.

On March 5, the Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines said that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of this country has just issued a notice on initiating a preliminary investigation under safeguard measures on corrugating medium paper products.
