Philippines - Investigation safeguard measure on Corrugated board

On March 5, the Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines said that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of this country has just issued a notice on initiating a preliminary investigation under safeguard measures on corrugating medium paper products imported from a number of countries.
I. Relevant information:
1. Initiation date: February 11, 2025
2. Goods under investigation: corrugating medium paper products under AHTN codes 4805.19.10, 4805.19.90, and 4805.12.00 according to the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Schedule AHTN.
3. Plaintiff: the Pulp and Paper Manufacturer/s Association of the Philippines.
4. Period of investigation: 2019 - 2023
