Hardwood and decorative plywood - U.S. investigates antidumping and countervailing measures

On June 11, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an anti-dumping investigation (CBPG) and anti-subsidy (CTC) on hardwood and decorative plywood imported from Vietnam.

1. Date of initiation of investigation: June 11, 2024

 

2. Item under investigation: Hardwood and decorative plywood, mainly in HS codes 4412 and 9403 

 

3. Investigation period: 

 

3.1. AD Investigation Period: October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025 

 

3.2. CVD Investigation Period: 2024 

 

3.3. AD/CVD damage investigation period: 03 years (2022-2024) 

 

4. Petitioner: Fair Trade Association with American Hardwood Plywood
