KOTTAYAM: The Union commerce minister Anand Sharma said his ministry will take up a proposal to increase the rubber planting subsidy with the Planning Commission. The proposal is to increase the rubber planting subsidy from 20% of the total cost to nearly 30% of the total cost of planting.
