The U.S. government on Friday, September 11, announced the adoption of protective measures against Chinese tires shipped. Two days later, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) declared that China also launched anti-dumping and anti-sublimities probes into some commodities produced in the United States.

The Economic Times reports on a sudden shortage of vitamin C in the country. “Due to curbs on raw material imports from China, drug manufacturers are finding it unviable to produce the medicine whose retail price is controlled by the government,” the paper (a content partner of BusinessWeek) reports today
