Mexico Clarifies Final Ruling of Anti-Dumping Investigation into Carbon Steel Nuts from China

On Nov. 4, 2010, the general office of international trade practice under the Mexican Ministry of Economic Affairs issued an Announcement to clarify the range restriction of the final ruling of the anti-dumping investigation released on Aug. 2, 2010 into the Carbon Steel Nuts from China. The Announcement reads as follows:

Today the European Commission adopted a regulation revising rules of origin for products imported under the generalised system of preferences (GSP). This regulation relaxes and simplifies rules and procedures for developing countries wishing to access the EU's preferential trade arrangements, while ensuring the necessary controls are in place to prevent fraud.
