The US Department of Commerce decided to amend the sixth administrative review’s antidumping margins on frozen shrimp from Viet Nam after several allegations that the Department made errors in its calculations.
Accordingly, the antidumping margin imposed on the Minh Phu Group between February 1, 2010 and January 31, 2011 was revised down from 1.27 percent to 0.53 percent. The margins of UTXI Aquatic Products Processing Corporation; Thuan Phuoc Seafoods and Trading Corporation; and Phu Cuong Jostoco Seafood Corporation were also reduced to 0.88 percent.
Since Nha Trang Group did not file any allegations, its anti-dumping margin was unchanged at 1.23 percent. However, as the margin for Minh Phu Group was lower, the antidumping margin for separate respondents, which was derived from the average of the margins of the Minh Phu Group and the Nha Trang Group, also went down to 0.88.
