On September 14, 2011, the United States International Trade Commission made a final ruling of antidumping sunset review on sulfanilic acid originating in China and India, and made a final ruling of anti-subsidy sunset review on India's sulfanilic acid, judging that injuries have been caused to U.S. local industries and that cancellation of the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures will cause the continuation or reoccurrence of the injuries to the U.S. in a foreseeable period.
In April 2011, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched the anti-dumping sunset review investigation into sulfanilic acid originating in China and India and launched anti-subsidy sunset review investigation into India's sulfanilic acid.
In July 2011, the Department of Commerce made affirmative final rulings on above cases.
