US DOC announces AD review results for stainless steel bar from India

US Department of Commerce has announced the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review for stainless steel bar from India.
As a result of its administrative review covering February 1st 2008 through January 31st 2009, the US DOC has come to the conclusion that the subject merchandise was sold at prices less than normal value in the US.
Accordingly, the institution determined dumping margins of 0% and 5.54% for Ambica Steels Limited and Venus Wire Industries Pvt Limited respectively.
Imports of steel plate are currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States under subheadings 7222.11.00.05, 7222.11.00.50, 7222.19.00.05, 7222.19.00.50, 7222.20.00.05, 7222.20.00.45, 7222.20.00.75, and 7222.30.00.00.
Final results of the review are to be issued no later than 120 days from the publication date of the preliminary results.
