U.S. antidumping duties on wire rods from India to continue

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster): The US Department of Commerce (DOC) on Wednesday made an affirmative determination, finding that revocation of antidumping review on stainless steel wire rods from India may lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping.
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) is also conducting an expedited sunset review of this order, which virtually guarantees that the ITC will make an affirmative determination and that the order will be continue for a further period of five years.
The wire rods subject to this order are currently classifiable under subheadings 7221.00.0005, 7221.00.0015, 7221.00.0030, 7221.00.0045, and 7221.00.0075 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
