On August 21, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced its final anti-circumvention ruling on Chinese honey, affirming the imports of honey-rice syrup mixture (regardless of honey ratio) from China have circumvented the U.S. antidumping duty order of December 10, 2001 on China-made honey products.
The Department launched probe into the case in October 2000 and issued that antidumping duty order in December 2011 with duty rates 25.88%~183.80%;
The anti-circumvention probe started in December 2011 and gave a preliminary ruling in June 2012.
