Turkey extends safeguard measures on glassware products

The Turkish Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, through Communiqué no 2011/07 on Safeguard Measure in Importation, decided to extend the safeguard measure applied to imports of glassware products (H.S. Code 70.13) originating from Islamic Republic of Iran for a period of three years.
The implementation of the measure will be proposed to the Council of Ministers, which takes the form of extra custom duties of 0,75; 0,70 and 0,65 $/kg, respectively for the current and next two years.
