On August 25, 2011, the EU announced that it would officially cancel on August 26, 2011 the anti-dumping measures on China-made carborundum since it had received no petition for sunset review of those anti-dumping measures.
Up to 2011, the EU has levied anti-dumping duties on China's carborundum for 25 years starting from 1986, when it finally ruled those duties.
