Russia: UC Rusal To Get EU Anti-Dumping Duties Refund

LONDON – Russian aluminum producer UC Rusal (0486.HK) has been awarded a refund by the European Commission of anti-dumping duties paid on silicon metal it sent to the European Union, the company said Tuesday.
The EUR616,000 refund relates to duties paid in the second half of 2008 on metal produced by Rusal's silicon companies, SKU LLC and ZAO Kremny.
The commission made the decision on March 29 after Rusal submitted a refund application on March 11, 2009.
