Russia: Government promulgated the Decree on prolongation of the grain export ban

On October 26, 2010, the newspaper Rossiyskaya Gaseta published the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dd. October 20, 2010, “On imposition of the temporary ban for exports of the certain range of agricultural products from the territory of the Russian Federation”.
According to the document, the Government of the Russian Federation decreed to impose the temporary ban for exports of wheat and meslin, barley, rye and maize from the territory of the Russian Federation from January 2 to June 30, 2011.
As a reminder, the previous Decree dd. August 5, 2010, # 599 “On imposition of the temporary ban for exports of the certain range of agricultural commodities from the territory of the Russian Federation” provided imposition of wheat and meslin, barley, rye, maize, wheat or rye-wheat flour temporary export ban from the territory of the Russian Federation from August 15, 2010, till December 31, 2010.
