Russia delayed decision on scrapping a 5 percent duty on corn and barley imports after the country’s worst drought in at least 50 years, the government said on its website today.
The government’s commission in charge of tariffs reviewed a proposal to lift the duty for a period of up to six months and delayed the decision until it receives information from the agriculture and economy ministries on availability of grains across the regions, it said.
