In the period 1995-2022, the Philippines initiated a total of 21 anti-dumping investigations and decided to impose duties on 13 cases. It can be seen that this is a country that conducts relatively few anti-dumping investigations (only 0.3% of total anti-dumping investigations in the world).

 

Anti-dumping measure is the most common trade remedy measure in the Philippines (accounting for 51% of the total number of trade remedy investigations initiated by this country).

According to WTO statistics, China and Russia are the two countries with the most anti-dumping investigations by the Philippines with 3 initiations (accounting for 28% of the Philippines' total anti-dumping investigations).

Sectors subject to the most Anti-dumping measures by the Philippines

 

Base metals and articles are the group subject to the most anti-dumping measure by Philippines (accounting for 38% of the total number of anti-dumping measures globally), followed by articles of stone, plaster; ceramic prod.; glass (accounting for 24%), Products of the chemical and allied industries (accounting for 14%), etc.
