Ministry of Commerce of PRC No.92: Extending Anti-dumping Rates On Imported TDI

Pudaily, Shanghai-According to the Article 50 of Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Anti-dumping and decision of the State Council of Tariff Committee, Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) materials imported from Japan, Korea and America will be levied anti-dumping taxes for another five year, effective from November 21, 2009 in light of the incidence of taxations and rates based on the No.61, 2003; No.115, 2005; No.53, 2006;No.2 2009 and No. 57 2009 promulgated by the Ministry of Commerce.
Proceedings
On November 22, 2003-The Ministry of Commerce of PRC announced the No.61 to levy anti-dumping rates for imported TDI from Japan, Korea and America for five years. During this time, the Ministry of Commerce has promulgated No.61, 2003; No.115, 2005; No.53, 2006;No.2 2009 and No. 57 2009 to make some adjustment for the regulations.
On September 1, 2008- On behalf of China TDI industry, Hebei Cangzhou Dahua and BlueStar Chemical applied for final reinvestigation, which is also supported by Gansu Yinguang and Yantai Juli Polyurethane Co., Ltd.
On November 22, 2008-According to the Article 48 of Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Anti-dumping, the Ministry of Commerce decided to execute further anti-dumping reinvestigation of TDI imported from Japan, Korea and America. This investigation will be effective from November 22, 2008, end on November 21, 2009.
