Kazakhstan to impose ban for vegetable oils and buckwheat groats exports for 6-month term

The Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan ?1024 “On imposition of the ban for exports of several varieties of oilseed seeds, vegetable oils and buckwheat groats from Kazakhstan” was signed on October 5, 2010, declared the press-cutting service of the Ministry of economic development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Decree was accepted in order to avoid the deficit and growth of prices for oilseed seeds, vegetable oils and buckwheat groats on the domestic market, supporting Kazakh food processing enterprises with the sufficient volumes of raw material for production of vegetable oils and fat-and-oil products, and prevention of the reporting deficit in supplying of the mentioned food commodities.
The press-cutting service explained that the Decree comes into force in 10 calendar days after the day of the first official publication and stay active during 6-month term.
The Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan was worked out on the base of the analysis about the necessity to impose the ban for exports of the products, realized by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The present year unfavorable weather conditions in the world caused imposition of the reporting export ban, many countries of the world expect for the decrease of oilseeds and groats crops production, marked the press-cutting service.
