DOC now plans to release findings July 30

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Commerce said it will postpone reporting the preliminary results of an antidumping investigation on uncovered innerspring units from China, Vietnam and South Africa by 50 days.

Lead petitioner Leggett & Platt requested the delay to allow the DOC to do a more thorough investigation of various overseas innerspring producers.

The DOC originally planned to release its preliminary findings June 9 and now will report them on July 30. The deadline for the final determination will be 75 days after July 30, although it could be extended.
