On October 27, 2023, the Indonesian Self-Defense Committee (KPPI) issued a notice to initiate a safeguard investigation into the imported cotton yarn.

3. Investigation Period: from 2019 to 2022 and subsequently updated during the investigation from 2021 to 2024.

4. Final Decision: The Indonesian Safeguards Commission (KPPI) issued its Final Conclusion, recommending that the Indonesian Government apply safeguard measures in the form of absolute tariffs, with the following specific rates:

- Year 1: 13,419 rupiah/kg

- Year 2: 12,614 rupiah/kg

- Year 3: 11,809 rupiah/kg
