India's Anti-Dumping Sunset Review Investigation on China's Metronidazole

On May 30, 2011, at the request of Aarti Drugs Ltd and Unichem laboratories Ltd, Indian Ministry of Commerce & Industry launched anti-dumping sunset review investigation on metronidazole originating in China, the involved products are under HS code 29332902.
The investigation period for dumping in this case is from January 1, 2010 to December 31. 2010, and the period of injury is set as 2007/08 financial year, 2008/09 financial year and 2009/10 financial year.
In 1999, India launched anti-dumping investigation on China's metronidazole, and in 2000 India made a confirmative final ruling on this case, till now India has imposed anti-dumping duties on China's metronidazole for 10 years.
