India re launches AD investigation on Chinese CR stainless steel

Reporters from Mysteel learnt that India announced on August 16th 2010 to launch an anti dumping investigation on cold rolled flat products of stainless steel of 200 series, all the austenitic stainless steel with width below 600mm (nickel content below 6%) from China, UAE and US. That is the 7th AD cases launched by India in 2010.
As per report, the investigation this time is proposed by Hisa Metal Industries, Quality Foils (India) and JSL Limited.
Those involved steel products are under the following HS. Code: 72202010, 72202021, 72202022, 72202029, 72202090, 72209010, 72209021, 72209022, 72209029, 72209090.
Actually, India has already levied anti dumping tariff on cold rolled flat products of stainless steel with the width of 600mm to 1250mm as early as before. However, the nation re launched an investigation on June 23rd 2010 to decide whether to levy anti dumping tariff on such products with the width above 1250mm.
