India - Safeguard measures on Unwrought Aluminum

On April 19th 2016, the Directorate General of Safeguards Customs and Central Excise of India issued Notice No. D-22011/10/2016/Pt-II of Initiation of Safeguard Investigation against Unwrought Aluminum imported into India from several countries including Vietnam.

Relevant Information:

1.Initiation date: April 19th 2016

2.Scope of investigation: Unwrought Aluminum (Alumnium not alloyed and Aluminium alloys) classified under the HS Code No. 7061

3.Petitioner: Vedanta limited – Aluminium & Power, Hindlco Industries Limited and Bharat Aluminium Limited Liability Company

4.Period of Investigation: 2011 – 2016
