EU: Anti-dumping measures against China and Taiwan
09/01/2012 12:00
A decision regarding the extension and/or removal of anti-dumping measures on Chinese and Taiwanese steel fasteners is set to be published in the Official Journal of the EU, on 7 January.
The decision is to enter into force the following day. The EU officially started its investigation in November 2010.
Back in 2005, the EU found that China and Taiwan were applying unfair trade practices, dumping certain stainless steel fasteners and parts thereof, affecting the Union’s producers.
It then decided to apply a set of anti-dumping measures, which are set to expire shortly.
