Commission notice of anti-dumping proceedings concerning imports from Belarus- 2011/C 187/12

On 16 May 2011, the European Commission received a complaint under Art. 5 of Council Regulation (EC) No 1225/2009 on protection against dumped imports from countries not members of the European Community.
The complaint was lodged by the Defence Committee of the Seamless Steel Tubes Industry of the European Union. It alleged that imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes, originating in Belarus, are being dumped on the EU market.
In response to the complaint, the Commission is initiating an investigation. Interested parties are invited to submit relevant information within 21 days of 28 June 2011, the date of publication of this notice.
The investigation is scheduled to conclude within 15 months of that date.
Provisional measures may be imposed within nine months of the publication of this notice.
