China Starts Antidumping Probe into Japanese Chemical Detectors

Beijing, June 5 (Jiji Press)--China has opened an investigation into whether gas chromatograph mass spectrometers imported from Japan are being sold at less than fair market value, the Commerce Ministry said Thursday.
The ministry will conduct the antidumping probe for one year, with a possible extension of six months.
Gas chromatograph mass spectrometers are used to detect traces of harmful chemicals in the environment and foods. Demand for them is apparently rising in
