Caustic soda imports attract anti-dumping probe

The Government of India has initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of Caustic Soda shipped from countries like Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Norway.
This has been done after the Alkali Manufacturers Association of India; New Delhi filed an application before the Designated Authority of the Commerce Ministry.
The Designated Authority will determine the existence, degree and effect of alleged dumping and then recommend the amount of anti-dumping duty.
