Argentina to impose anti-dumping duties on coated woodfree paper imports

SAO PAULO, (RISI) - Argentina on Mar. 3 issued a resolution recognizing damage caused by imported coated woodfree paper (CWF) from the USA, Austria and China on the local industry.
RISI learned that a final decision on this issue will be taken soon and there are is a good chance that the government will impose anti-dumping duties on imported CWF papers from those countries, including papers in rolls and in sheets with basis weights ranging from 80 g/m² up to 200 g/m², excluding papers with a width of 15 cm or less.
The antidumping duties will be of 63.51% on FOB prices for CWF paper coming from the USA and respectively 145.3%, 143.2% and 39.5% for those coming from Finland, Austria and China.
