On May 30, 2011, the Government of Argentina, by means of Resolution 172/2011, opened a review procedure of the antidumping measure imposed by Resolution 83/2002 and confirmed by Resolution 399/2006 to imports of radial ball bearings of a diameter between 30mm and 120mm (excluding the RST type) from the People´s Republic of China (N.C.M. 8482.10.10).
The product had been excluded from the antidumping measure by Resolution 259/2010. However, local firm SKF Argentina S.A. requested a re-opening of the dumping investigation, and a review of the mentioned antidumping measure.
Spain has been selected as the third country in order to determine the normal value of the product.
The antidumping measure is restored in full force regarding the mentioned product until the review process is concluded.
