Argentina initiates anti-dumping investigation on sunglasses and frames

On April 7, 2011, the Government of Argentina,by means of Resolution 75/2011, opened an anti-dumping investigation on imports of sun glasses and frames for glasses and corrective goggles from the People´s Republic of China. (N.C.M. 9003.11.00, 9003.19.10, 9003.19.90, 9004.90.10 and 9004.10.00.).
The dumping margin for the purpose of opening the investigation was calculated to be 3,979.43%.
Brazil has been selected as the third country in order to determine the normal value of the product.
Interested parties have a 10-day period as of the day after publication of this Resolution to comment on this selection.
