Argentina initiates AD investigation on porcelain tiles

On July 27, 2011, the Government of Argentina, by means of Resolution 470/2011, opened an anti-dumping investigation on imports of unvarnished and unglazed porcelain and “porcellanato” tiles from the People´s Republic of China (N.C.M. 6907.90.00).
The opening of the investigation was requested by the Chamber of Flooring Manufacturers and local producers Ilva S.A., Industrias Cerámicas Lourdes S.A. and Canteras Cerro Negro S.A. Brazil has been selected as the third country in order to determine the normal value of the product.
The dumping margin for the purpose of opening the investigation was calculated to be 631,63%.
