Argentina initiates AD investigation on polyether polyol copolymer

The Government of Argentina, by means of Resolution 462/2011, opened an anti-dumping investigation on imports of polyether polyol copolymer, comprised of oxypropylen and oxyethylen monomeric units, with a molecular weight between 2900 and 3500, with 47 to 58 hydroxiles, and a viscosity between 400 cST and 600 cST at 25 degrees Celsius, with a maximum color of 35 APHA from the United States of America (N.C.M. 3907.20.39).
The opening of the investigation was requested by local producer Dow Química Argentina S.A.
The dumping margin for the purpose of opening the investigation was calculated to be 70,51%.
