Argentina - final AD measures on electric heaters

On May 4, 2011, the Government of Argentina, by means of Resolution 148/2011, closed an anti-dumping investigation on imports of electric heaters electric devices used for domestic heating of rooms or floors from the People´s Republic of China (N.C.M. 8516.29.00).
The opening of the investigation had been requested by the local firm Liliana S.R.L.
The dumping margin for the purpose of opening the investigation was calculated to be 138.26%.
The Government applied a final ad valorem anti-dumping duty on imports of these products from the People´s Republic of China, amounting to 138.26% over the FOB export price.
The measure will be in force for 5 years, effective 5 May, 2011.
