WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Commerce has delayed the results of the 2006 administrative review of antidumping duties on Chinese-made wood bedroom furniture by 60 days.

The results were originally scheduled to be released around June 12, or 120 days after the publication of the preliminary review results in February.

However, the DOC said it needs more time to complete the review, which covers wood bedroom shipments from China in 2006.

The results are now due on Aug. 11, which is within the 180 days allowed by law. The extra time will allow the DOC to complete verification reports and to analyze comments on the preliminary review results, the verification reports and any other related information gathered in the verification process regarding the wood bedroom shipments.
