Wind Tower - The United States investigates anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures

On July 30, 2019, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation (AD) and anti-subsidy (CVD) investigation for wind towers (utility scale wind towers) imported from Canada, Indonesia, Korea and Vietnam.
Relevant information:
1. Initiated date: July 29, 2019;
2. Products under investigation: wind towers code HS 7308.20 and 8502.31;
3. Petitioner: Wind Tower commercial alliance, members of Arcosa Wind Towers Inc. (Dallas, TX) and Broadwind Towers, Inc. (Manitowoc, WI).
4. Progression
On April 1, 2024, USDOC conducted the final anti-dumping duty investigation (second time)
On October 17, 2024, USDOC continued to apply anti-dumping tax after the second final review
