Textured tempered coated and uncoated glass - India investigates anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures

On February 23, 2024, The Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) has been informed that the Indian Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has initiated an anti-dumping investigation on textured tempered coated and uncoated glass products originated or imported from Viet Nam.

1. Date of initiation of investigation: February 13, 2024
2. Item under investigation:
HS Code: 7003.1990; 7005.1010; 7005.1090; 7005.2190; 7005.2990; 7005.3090; 7007.1900; 7007.2190; 7007.2900, 7016.9000, 7020.0090 and 8541.4011.
3. Plaintiff: Borosil Renewable Limited
4. Preliminary conclusion:
On November 05, 2024, India's Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has made a preliminary conclusion confirming dumping and damage, imposing temporary anti-dumping tax: 565 USD/MT
