China has just implemented a new regulation of checking imported textile and garment products quality, informed the Department of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Industry of Trade on October 16.

According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Canada, although the rate of using CPTPP preferential tariffs for Vietnamese exports has increased steadily over the past 5 years, there is still about USD 4 billion, or about 60% of products enjoying tax. CPTPP is equal to 0 but still cannot be taken advantage of.

The promotion of national standards and technical regulations has significantly contributed to improving the quality and competitiveness of products, goods and services, an official has said.

In contrast to the gloomy picture of many industries, from the beginning of the year until now, many agricultural products have continuously recorded new records in export, with worth of billions of dollars. This is an important driving force for the agricultural industry to continue to "breakthrough" in the remaining months of 2023.

Tariffs likely to continue to protect domestic industry: experts
