The draft decree states that Vietnamese halal certification organisations will be supported in improving their capacity, achieving international recognition and having their certification results accepted.

US President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order on August 1 (Viet Nam time) which adjusts rates for 69 countries and territories listed in Annex I. The reciprocal tariffs on Vietnamese imports have been lowered to 20% from 46%.

This situation requires close and synchronized coordination among ministries, industry associations, the business community, and especially Vietnam's network of trade offices abroad.
