Ferro-Silico-Manganese alloy - South Korea investigates anti-dumping measures

On November 18, 2015, Korean Trade and Commerce initiated an anti-dumping duty investigation of Ferro-Silico-Manganese alloy imported from India, Ukraine and Vietnam.

Relevant information:

1. Petitioner: Dongbu Metal, Simpac Metal, Simpac Metalloy và Taekyung Industrial.

2. Product under investigation: Ferro-Silico-Manganese alloy. HS code: 7202.30.0000.

3. Preliminary determinations:
On May 31, 2017, KTC announce preliminary determinations on Vietnamese exporter with tariff rate of 7,48%.

4. Final determinations:

On September 14, 2017, KTC announce final determinations and imposed anti dumping rates from 4,06% to 19,06% against India, Ukraine and Vietnam exporters. Vietnemese exporters were imposed the tariff rates of 4,06%. This tariff will be in effect for 5 years.
