Container Chassis - Canada investigates anti-circumvention measures of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duty

On November 25, 2024, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced the initiation of an anti-circumvention investigation into imports of Container Chassis from Vietnam. The investigation is under the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), based on allegations of circumvention by Vietnam of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) decision issued on February 18, 2022 in Investigation No. NQ-2021-005 regarding the imposition of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CTC) on imports of Container Chassisfrom China. The investigation period is from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2024.
