Vietnam’s steel –core transmission wire to suffer from Turkish anti dumping tax

(VietNamNet) – V-shaped steel core transmission wire from China, India and Vietnam will be subject to duty of 5,04 US$/kg;3,50 US$/kg and 4,55 US$/kg respectively, recently announced by Turkey government.
 
On May 2, The Vietnam Competition Management Administration, at the Ministry of Trade (MoT), has released a notice that Turkey has finished anti dumping investigation on steel core wire products. Accordingly, antidumping tax will be imposed on steel core wire export from Vietnam, China and Turkey to this market.

Particularly,  V-shaped steel core transmission wire from China, India and Vietnam will be subject to duty of 5,04 US$/kg;3,50 US$/kg and 4,55 US$/kg respectively.

The anti dumping investigation  has been conducted by Turkish Secretariat for Foreign Trade since May 2006 following the Anti- Unfair Competition in import activities of this country.

Earlier, in 2004, Turkish Secretariat for Foreign Trade decided to imposed anti dumping tax ranged from 29-40% on bicycle and motorbike tyres from Vietnam
