U.S. to Stop Imposing Tariffs on Korean Steel Products
22/02/2013 12:00
The U.S. International Trade Commission has decided to stop imposing tariffs on imports of steel products from Korea.
With the decision, the ITC will stop levying up to about five-percent in anti-dumping tariffs.
It will also remove one.three-percent of counter-veiling duties on cold-rolled steel plates and galvanized steel plates exported by Korea's POSCO and Dongbu Steel.
Exports of these products to the U.S. reached some 360 million U.S. dollars last year and account for around four percent of Korea's total steel exports.
