According to the final results of the expedited sunset review of the anti-dumping (AD) duty order, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that revoking the anti-dumping (AD) duty order on light-walled welded rectangular carbon steel tubing originating in Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at the level up to 40.97%.
This imposition was firstly started in March 1989. The USDOC announced the initiation of the five-year sunset review on July 1, 2022, reviewing the existing AD duty rate of 5.51%-40.97%.
This determination was applicable from October 25, 2022.
